my cat is not drinking water

ya, nothing like that for an animal ever, or anything chocolate

I thought about getting Lil She one of those....uhg, but the cleaning of the machine has stopped me.

Just how much is involved in cleaning it?....is it kinda like cleaning a coffee pot by running vinegar water through the machine? Is it that easy?


New World Man, if you could weigh in on this that'd be great!....

I'll order her one if you guys can convince me it's not a pain in the behind to clean out!

I drove through Ohio on the way to Michigan. I stopped in Findlay. Coolest town I have ever been in. I thought, if I could move anywhere, it would be there.

I had a cat that would like to wade in the water at the river. A couple of my cats love to go out in the rain., other 2 adore angels and Christmas.

On another note, Neighbor isn’t a cat person and have had several poisoned throughout the years unfortunately. Other neighbors have too.
Animal control isn’t any help either.

my cat would never drink tap water, because the chemical smell..
She has sometimes drank types of bottled water, but often not.
She often drinks dirty rain water....

that happen to my foundation also, but cat and I hated it cause it was too loud too, my old cat who passed years ago and I went through it, maybe the got quieter, but we hated it

Whilst she was being fed steaks, I was stuck with the veg lol... she was worth it though... died 2 year ago due to distemper...

ya we make our own dog food too

I got a fighting fish, in a last ditch effort to get a cat to start drinking water on his own again.

That's all he drinks from now.

When it's hotter weather than usual they drink less. It's their mode of survival being a desert animal from origin (our domestic cats). It works to give them soft food with some water added. When the weather cools again they'll compensate and drink more than usual. No worries. Although; when weather's standard, and the cat's eating it's hard catfood normally, he should drink normally as well. Urinary problems may be suspected then...check it's peeing behavior, it it's different, and maybe contact a vet. But I think it's the weather thing, was surprised by this with my own cats as well at first until I heard and read it from others :)

My cat would only drink out of the bathtub faucet.
