US Space Force?

I think its hilarious.

Little history, in 2003 the US govt and the Draconian alliance tried to wipe out 95% of the population on earth. out of 180,000 invading ships only 5 made it to earth. the Federation stopped the whole plan and it got covered up. fast forward 15 years. the govt is still planning on killing everyone the only problem is the federation stopping them. bingo build a space force and fight them so they don't stop the depopulation plan again...

There is absolutely no need for a space force...we need a force fighting homelessness and poverty...learn to live on earth before you shit in someone else's backyard...

While I do agree in part I also see that if we aren’t up to par with other nations we are behind. When we are behind we are vulnerable.

The president has much more control over a segment of the government as Commander-in-Chief than as Chief Executive.

I'm curious about this too.

Note that the military already has a space program they just don't blab about it.

A few possibilities:

Could just be a publicity stunt.

Could be that there is a lack of trust in the existing military so they are starting this one from scratch and also "space."

Could be a crony wants to be chief of a military service so ... "space."

Could be they are going to be doing something so extensively and obviously military they can't hide it, can't put it under NASA, but still why a new space command? Unless its even more extensive than that and actually merits a new branch of service - like actual military space fleet for stealing oil from other planets.

In addition to the latter, could be they are going to be doing massive recruiting. Again, this would be military in nature or they would just put it under NASA.

Maybe NASA pissed off Trump. I know they pissed me off and I had a conversation with him about them. Maybe he is throwing me a bone on this one. Maybe lots of intellectual property stealing NASA pedo ingrates are going to loose jobs and go to prison! YAY!!!!!

Since Trump plays 10^5D chess it could be all of the above.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were going to try stealing that space ship I left in the ORION nebula.


After looking at the logos I'm 90 percent sure this is publicity plus a little money suffling.
