If I were a millionaire, I'd probably spend the rest of my days exploring sites like these.
Quoting: Rose8 Sigh... as would I.
Thank you for the awesome thread Rose8 !Great links in that map. I also want to know more about the North American Canal Culture that was so discussed here 2010 and earlier. I have questions such as who built these landmarks in New Jersey? [ link to www.google.com (secure)] And what civilization so accurately divided the land just North East of TopSail Beach, NC? [ link to www.google.com (secure)] Or who built the channel and keyhole waterways in Louisiana? These are ancient, not oil explorative. [ link to www.google.com (secure)] Quoting: Louis in Richmond I was once on a site that suggested that it is impossible that all the rock walls of new england were built in the time period given. (a couple hundred years) Also, they even go under water ways, it is said. I've never seen them reproduced. In a manner that you would say: hey, that looks just like the ancient ones. You can't really do it. Quoting: Eilonwy There are exist precision cut harbors of large size 400 X 1,200 feet and more off the coast of the US, in numerous locations, now under about twelve feet of water. The water rose, the shore line moved inland and the civilization that built them is long gone and forgotten to us. Perhaps they are from the same time as the now underwater structures of the Yonaguni Monument off the coast of Japan? [ link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]
