It's lesser the term limits that are the problem and more so us being given, and then us "selecting," shitty people to run our country.

We need to understand and except our own culpability in the downfall of our nation if we ever hope to regain our strength.

It's everybody's fault. Sure, originally it was the evil elites, but now we've allowed ourselves to become so corrupted through fear and intimidation of death, that we are essentially living a dystopian nightmare without realizing there is another choice.

All I read is "Opinion" written articles from the progressive left, that frames the exact same question... And it seemed to start under Obama... where the constitution and bill of rights should be gotten rid of, because it's outdated. Now, I respect people and their opinions, but when you have a monopoly with the progressive left who have infiltrated every sector of our country, who spew nothing but hatred for this country...

And where I'm coming from is simply that if you have a differing opinion from theirs, they want to destroy your life. And we have seen this play out time and time again. So, we have this same reoccurring narrative running over and over, but they want to have a socialist system where we have all of our rights stripped from us, and they lord over us, telling us what to think and say.

There is no question that the schooling system has beaten into our children to be obedient subjects, and not thoughtful citizens that practice the trivium philosophy. So, we have a lot of young people coming up, and they all think that Capitalism is evil, and that social controls are necessary.

The very people that are the preachers have weaponized our system and turned it against us. Now, wrong is write, up is down, left is right, Satan is good, God is bad, government shouldn't be questioned... You get the point.

This where I'm coming from. We have places like Venezuela that is dying under socialist control... and people are eating zoo animals and food out of dumpsters, but our news won't even report the absolute horrors of all these other places that practice the very thing that the writer of the opinion article likely advocates.

I am not trying to be a dick here, I'm just saying that this still is the greatest country in the world... and we have people within, that want to destroy it.
