While the player's may be expressing free speech. They're viewers are expressing they're freedom to turn them off. Big media takes partisan stance, instead of being neutral, I turn them off. When PayPal plays politics and blocks companies because they disagree with what they do, I block PayPal.

Everyone should have the freedom of speech, but business is business. Player's are businessmen, they are selling entertainment. Whether you are an entertainer or selling something else, you should be keeping personal feeling and opinions out of it, as long as you can do it without compromising your values. If you find that in some situation this is not possible, i.e. baking a gay cake. You should have the right to say no, just remember your customer have the right to say no as well.
