A pet peeve of mine is when people say the word "often" wrong, the "T" is silent and pronounced "off-in". When I hear people say it with the "T" it drives me nuts & I am embarrassed for them.

It makes more sense that way, but for some reason, it got switched up somewhere along the line.

It really bugs me when people write "could of" or "should of" or "would of."

It's "could have" or "could've," etc.

What bugs me is when people speak slang...

It just sounds awful and doesn't make sense...

Even worse when the younger generations speak it...

Everyone gets "it's" vs. "its" wrong, too. "It's" always means "it is." The possessive form of "it" is "its."
