NAMES of Officers that were killed today.

Two Fredericton police officers are among four people confirmed dead following an early morning shooting in a residential area on the city's north side.

The two Fredericton police officers that were killed have been identified as Robb Costello, 45, a 20-year police veteran and father of four, and Sara Burns, 43, who joined the Fredericton Police Force in 2016. She leaves behind her husband and three children. The names of the two civilians killed have not been released but they were a man and woman.

The 48-year-old suspect, who has not been identified, is in hospital in and being treated for serious injuries.
