Tibbetts didn’t answer her phone when someone at the day camp center where she worked called the next day to find out why she didn’t show up.

All of the calls went straight to voicemail.

Tibbetts was supposed to be part of a group of 10 staff taking around 75 kids to the Poweshiek County Fair.

When Tibbetts didn’t show up to her job on Thursday morning, her boyfriend knew something was wrong.

Jack then realized that his “good morning” text went unanswered.

“I looked at my phone and noticed I texted her good morning that morning and she hadn’t looked at it. So I got ahold of her friends and family.”

Jack was one of the first people to realize Mollie Tibbetts was gone.

(It seems like her coworkers were the first to realize something was off)

“I was the one who threw red flags,” he said.

He then called her friends and family. And returned to Brooklyn.

“…and then Thursday after we found out she was missing I drove home. So I was in Dubuque the entire time.”

Something strange about this story.

There has been a lot of misinformation about what happened next. While many believe Tibbetts disappeared while out on a jog, there is more evidence to suggest she was taken against her will from her boyfriend’s home.

Why was he so lax on contacting her?

Where was the fiancé working?

The other brother left his job, which was with the boyfriend, mid week to visit fiancé?

Something is not adding up.

Have they said where the last GPS of where her phone was before it stopped pinging?

They have been vague and only issued areas of concern......

My youngest is 23, he is constantly texting.

If I don’t answer a text they either text or call shortly after.

Now they want us to believe Mollie is staying alone in a house and her texts are not important enough to answer in a timely manner, please.

I’m not buying the boyfriend was so lax, you’re right, either info is wrong or something is up.

She had been staying at the home of her boyfriend Dalton Jack, who has been ruled out as a suspect.

He appears to have been the last person to have communicated with her, receiving a Snapchat message from Tibbetts on the night she disappeared.

He opened it at around 10pm on July 18, although it may have been sent earlier that evening.

Tibbetts was last seen at 7.30pm that night.

Her brother said he hadn't seen the message and had not interest in seeing his sister's final words.

When asked why, he told Howard: 'I'm sure they were just talking. I'm sure it was just regular conversation. It wasn't sent to me so I don't care to see it.'


Didn’t the boyfriend say the SC message disappeared shortly after he read it?

How could the brother read it that’s the case?

It’s not been confirmed when she sent the SC only when he claims he opened it, so there is no way of knowing when it was sent because he said it disappeared.

What was the SC about?

There were two messages.....that makes more sense now on brother not wanting to see the text.....


Yesterday, Mr Jack told television station KCRG that he received two messages from Ms Tibbetts on the night she vanished.


He said one was a text message sent at 7pm and the other a Snapchat selfie that appeared to have been taken indoors after she would have returned from her jog.

Mr Jack said he opened the Snapchat photo at 10pm, although it is not clear what time it was sent.

Yeah, something is wrong there...

Holy shit my son is the biggest pain in the ass. If he sends me a text and I don’t answer it - I get an immediate ? sent to me. And I always respond lol.

All the boyfriend remembers of it was there was a pic of her and she appeared to be indoors.


Now being a sleuth and speculating here.....

Brother and fiancé are in Ames, brother gets off work in the middle of the week to go visit her?

Fiancé works and hour and a half away from the home, is she there all week and only home on weekends?

5:30 is the last contact she had that is concrete, her brother drove her to the house.

LE timeline 5-10

7:00 Mollie sends a text to boyfriend, I don’t know if he answered it

10:00 he opens a Snapchat, doesn’t know when sent or if he answered it

So no one sees or hears from her from 5:30-7:00

One could speculate the BF had ample time to drive home, send a text to his phone from her phone at 7:30, his phone was left in Dubuque.

Send a Snapchat from her phone to his with an old photo, they disappear anyway so it doesn’t matter and he does t know when it was sent, LE does though at this point I’m sure

It seems highly implausible he didn’t answer either of her messages when they were sent.


Just speculating how this scenario could be plausible

I’ve never seen my kids not answer their significant others immediately either, to the point of it being annoying!

LMAO I love that one too. I get a text and it sits for 30 seconds and he asks if I saw his text.

I do it to him now as payback.

The family friends and neighbors need to start combing any woods or areas near the jogging path.

If it were my kid, I'd have everyone I know and begging anyone else to join me nonstop in a formation sweep everyday checking woods, etc. as long as there is light outside til I found my kid....

I do it too now to bug my kids, lol


But I’m grateful they are concerned for me.

As a mom, I can’t imagine my daughter not showing up for dinner after we discussed what we were eating.

I don’t get that at all.....


My kids never did that to me, they would at least text and say plans changed.

What would really be sick if her, her boyfriend and the brother are scheming to get the reward money....

We have a search going on right now on Lake St. Clair for a 60 year old man who went under and never came back up.

The couple were celebrating on their boat, apparently jumped in for a swim without the boat being properly anchored.

The boat drifted away from them, other boaters noticed the female struggling and rescued her but the man was under by that time.

Long story short, the daughter of the man is raising hell with the rescuers, she claims her dad is an experienced boater, would never not anchor, on an on.

She is basically hysterical and acting like a person who just lost a loved one, that my point.....all these people who are so calm and cool.
