Lol. I know of a guy that was in a psych ward at a hospital because he was thinking the same thing. He was convinced that he was god. He said there were too many coincidences and he was absolutely sure he couldn't die and he was a god.

Depends on the context. There are those who have made a dark deal with devils, and have "gifts" that express immortality. But are sorely false, and their untimely demise usually attests to those results.

I was watching a documentary on transhumanism, and one guy proclaimed, i forget his name now, if you get in the way of me becoming god we'll have war! I just laughed at his futile sentiment. Anyone else seen it maybe you know what i'm talking about!

As far as I know there's only one supplement that claims to do that. TA something or other. And I doubt that works. If it does, it increases your risk of cancer too. Is that what you're taking?

Then there's things like omega 3's and calorie restriction which can greatly lengthen the telomeres. But these things are only temporary, and you still will surely die. Unless you're under divine favour, and God's going to initiate telemorase in you.

Simple question. There are new products in labs that I am aware of that are using telomeres, and other factors to increase life span. What happens if you were allowed to never die? Would you do it?

I felt that way right before jumping a huge motorcycle jump resulting in dislocating my hip and a 30,000 dollar hospital bill. I knew I couldnt die but I didnt take into consideration I could get hurt...lol

I don't know if I qualify for your inquiry, but, here's MY reality :

...One "see's" other's in their lives,"gone', loved one's, friends,celebrities,ect. I KNEW the moment my father passed,stared at my phone just waiting for the ring,at 2:30 am this is not my standard behaviour, phone rang 5 min later.My Pops was not ill ! So I'm saying one "KNOWS" the finite time of "LIFE"

I have not,to this moment, felt or "seen" ME "gone"...I just do what I do, and folks that I know, are just amazed that I do....I simply have no concept of age as a constraint or hindrance to going about my life...If I DIE doing what I love/am, so be it, I just don't see or "feel" it

Well, I was born a grand trine on my natal chart, Were pretty tough, lol

So tough in fact that the Bavarian Illuminati was formed on a Grand Trine Day

I've had some strange incidents myself...

Near drowning in our home pool as a toddler... dad saved me, no after effects...

Fell off a roof aged 5, bounced off the grass into the pavement, not one scratch or bruise to show for it...

Aged 11, playing a game of 'chicken' with some friends near railway lines, friend and I fell onto the railway, we got out on such a near miss before electrocution and an incoming train...

Aged 11, hit and dragged under a lorry on a motor way (don't ask) lorry stopped, I was pulled back from under by the driver escaping with only scratches and bruises...

Early 20's, went in for surgery, died on the operating theatre for 10-12 mins...
No after effects...

Probably lots more that I don't remember right now...

But, I'm still here (-:

Nope, mine was that I was the last person to ever die.

Children, teens and even into early 20's people think they'll live for ever.

Some people are so afraid of dying that they push it out of their minds even when they're up there in their late 70's or even 80's.

Most people realize that we've been given a limited time on this ride we call life. It's in our nature to ignore the obvious. I mean, how depressing would it be to sit around all day knowing that our last dying breath is coming and we'll fight for it as hard as a drowning man fights for his/hers.

Yeah, some go peacefully in their sleep but not many. Even when the mind accepts its fate, the body keeps fighting the inevitable.
