Yes! It goes along with bipolar disorder... LOL! You will die though. Believe it or not, when you get old, and your body is not what it use to be, your attitude changes. Life becomes stale and you are ready to rest in peace.

The rest of you will still age, and eventually die if I had to guess.

You're right in a way... I was suffering from extreme anxiety and daily panic attacks at age 7 when the reality hit me that I will die one day...

That thought nearly scared me to death itself...

I have to accept and embrace it now..we all do...no escape...

Most of us have had "close calls." Some of us (you) more than others. I do suspect that we are here to fulfill some unknown purpose.

I had to have been extremely lucky to survive that or I really do have a purpose... it's all one in the same to me...

I still ask myself "what is life?" Even at this age...

I've seen a lot and been through a lot, I still don't have the answers lol...

Accept Jesus as your Savior and repent of your sins and you will have eternal life in Heaven.

(what if that was my purpose for living this long... to tell you what I just told you and now my time here is up. One never knows.)

Perhaps it's not that I'm no longer needed her as much as I'm needed there more.

We think these flesh bodies of ours are so 'real' and our spirit bodies are intangible, but in the light of eternity, our human bodies are like a shooting star.

I've lived long enough to know that one of the biggest question people on their deathbeds ask, is: "What's it all about." My faith has already answered that question for me. Here's the answer: God Loved us enough that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. We can have eternal life with Him if we believe on His Name and repent of our sins. Repenting is really hard. It seems it's going to take me a lifetime to get that part right. I guess there are Christians that don't sin. The Bible does say that with God, all things are possible.

I had open heart surgery when I was six and since then - and not really getting it until I was 12 or 13 I have always felt invincible - there is a name for it too - god syndrome. Experienced by people who were traumatised before puberty - I think OHS sort of counts as trauma no matter how well my cardiologist managed it. - - The cardiologist was amazing tho. He died a couple years ago but was so good he got a half page obit in the telegraph. Mr Monroe. He did all his work with older people but in 1986 I was his first paediatric patient. He did a great job and so did the hospital.

My body most certainly will die. I, on the other hand, am eternal. Don't get too attached to your shell, it won't last long.

You cannot escape death anymore than the consequences of your choices.

Where you are now in life is the sum total of your choices.

That you can "escape" death or consequences of your past, is a delusion.

What needs to be changed is the choices you make... starting from NOW.

If you start making better choices, your life will be better.

It's a very simple equation.

In no realm of our universe does 1 + 1 not equal 2.

In the same way, bad choices plus bad choices most assuredly = bad consequences.

Make good choices. Be kind; help people. Look beyond your own self-made misery and see a bigger, brighter world; work towards that goal.

Be kind. Help people. SPEAK KINDLY EVEN OF PEOPLE YOU DISLIKE. Stop pitying yourself.

Be kind, even and especially to those who are unkind.

And most of all -- get real. Stop thinking that your life should be like someone else's life or like what you see on TV. Again -- WHERE YOU ARE NOW, IS THE SIMPLE OUTCOME OF ALL THE CHOICES YOU'VE MADE IN YOUR LIFE UP TO THIS POINT.

That's as real as it gets. Stare it straight in the face, see it for what it is, and if you don't like what you see, resolve to make better choices.

That's all there is to it. That's how you can turn things around. There is no escaping the death of this flesh body. There is just making better choices for a better life; this life, right now.
