Deutsche Bank shares crumble.Update 8.06 euro lowest price for shares in bank history

I have read that below 9.90 EURO, that some derivatives bubble may pop.

I'll try to find that too. I do remember reading it and hell that was several months ago. It's $9.12 (Dollars) in premarket which puts it at 8.02 Euros right now.

Here is a damning article on Deutsche Bank from 2016 and they are in much worse shape now. Then you add the money laundering charges against them and....KABOOM!!!

In 2007, Lehman had a leverage (the ratio of total assets to shareholder’s equity) of 31:1. At the time that Lehman filed for bankruptcy, it had $639 billion in assets and $619 billion in debt. Still, it caused a ‘systemic risk’ worldwide.

In comparison, DBK has a mind boggling leverage of 40x, according to Berenberg analyst, James Chappell. He stated, "facing an illiquid credit market limiting Deutsche Bank’s (DBK) ability to deliver and with core profitability impaired, it is hard to see how DBK can escape this vicious circle without raising more capital. The CEO has eschewed this route for now, in the hope that self-help can break this loop, but with risk being re-priced again it is hard to see DBK succeeding."

DB Is s relatively small bank in comparison to most in Europe.

When Dautsche Bank fails (not if, when) it will be 5-8x the damage of the Lehman Bros falure in Aug/Sep 2008. The financial ripples will be felt everywhere.

Beyond that, this DB failure is a warning about Germany's impending default on its international loans. When that happens, the USA has about 2 weeks before the USA defaults on its international loans and banks close and people can't get money out except for small amounts.

So watch Deutsche Bank. No one can stop this train wreck.

I am sorry, but DB is the 4th largest bank in EU...clearly not "relatively small".
