It seems odd that he would make this claim. I lived in an apartment years ago that experienced a fire that burned down half of the complex. It turned out that the fire started from a bag of fertilizer exposed to direct sunlight on a second-floor balcony. A warning went out in our local paper following this event to remind people never to store fertilizer in direct sunlight or expose to high heat, as it is extremely combustible due to its ammonium nitrate content. This summer, I've lost several smaller plants within two days due to the incredibly high heat - the leaves were literally fried to a brown crisp in the sun. If this woman applied any fertilizer pellets or powder to this plant, the product would have been exposed to direct sunlight and high temperatures as the plant, situated in a hot clay pot and surrounded by a hot metal trellis, sat on her hot deck. |

They've become suicide bombers. To know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders. A rock in bad hands killed Abel. A rock in good hands killed Goliath. It isn't about the rock.
