Nearly 350 news organizations are set to publish editorials on Thursday pushing back against Donald Trump’s attacks on the media and defending freedom of the press.

The publications are participating in a push organized by the Boston Globe to run coordinated editorials denouncing what the paper called a “dirty war against the free press”.

As of Wednesday morning, 343 publications had pledged to participate, said Marjorie Pritchard, the Globe’s deputy managing editor overseeing the opinion page.

“Donald Trump is not the first US president to attack the press or to feel unfairly treated by it. But he is the first who appears to have a calculated and consistent policy of undermining, delegitimising and even endangering the press’s work,” the Guardian’s editorial says

To let leak that an ORGANIZED and COORDINATED attack against the elected president proves the point that they are in fact an enemy of the electorate. The great Satan snares itself. Just have to stand back and wait.

And they forget one major point: Trump is not telling people some thing new, he outs what people have been saying and knowing for very long. So he is actually supporting the people and democracy... Not against.

very few people read the newspaper anyhow. I am sure Trump will find a way to take advantage of it. Media needs to take some responsibility. They have zero influence now.

Also, this is coming after the meeting with Zuckerburg. So, watch what happens. Facebook needs to be torn apart into a billion pieces.

Well they can thank their "messiah" Obama for stacking the deck in Trumps favor (even though they never expected him to win)
