I remember watching a video on YT once about indigenous tribes of South America.

The presenter briefly told, as part of the presentation, the story of a young child within a tribe that one day began seeing things that others did not see and hearing things that others did not hear.

The child was promptly brought to the shaman of the tribe, to become his student.


It made me wonder why I was born within and become accustomed to an urban American... *call it what you will*...
