The "luke" phrase sticks in your memory because it was incorrectly quoted many many times in popular culture, so you've all heard the wrong quote probably hundreds of times more than you watched the actual film.

No, the maps and words in the bible were mine. I just put the right words back and believe it or not the words in some place turned back to the correct word.

Those maps are dang freaky. I had printed off old ones and they change to. I was into maps so, yep I knew they place the land masses were supposed to be.

As for some of the things that changed, I have one that has not changed the old Ford logo, mine is the correct one.

It's really amazing that this phenomenon apparently only affects celebrity and popular events that many millions of people experienced....it is almost like these people remember it a certain way, or they and their friends repeated a certain line of a movie incorrectly for decades. Or like the media reported that a well known figure was close to death a few times and so, suddenly, many people remember hearing he was dead. Crazy!

Nothing has changed. The line was always I am your father. People have been quoting it wrong since 1977, but I have a VHS copy from the 80's, this video has been edited...there is that pause, No.....I am your father...and it is easy to fit Luke into said pause.

This is a really lame Mandela attempt. The misquoting came from so many people quoting the line over the years, and since they were removed from the theatre, they would add
"Luke", because taken in the format of a bunch of kids playing, there is no hour and half preceding to build up to what is happening, adding Luke gives the moment context for ten year olds.

The effect makes us all remember pop trivia differently! But nothing else! Amazing.

The clip has cleary been doctored, you can hear the bad edit.

If you ripped it, you might want to get a cat scan as you may have blacked out as a demon/tumor took over your body and spliced in the "Luke" over "No" in Cool Edit or whatever they're calling it these days.

Movies are re cut all the time. Not good evidence of the Mandela Effect.

Next they'll be re cutting movies to eliminate smoking, drinking, etc.
