Original VHS rip - Luke, I Am Your Father

I was in high school when this came out, and we all used to do Darth Vader impressions and say to one another:

"Luke...I am your father!"

But that was on the Sagittarius Earth.

In this Orion Earth that many of us were shifted to, it's always been:

"NO....I am your father!"

Intentionally put the wrong quote? Didn't suggest that... It couldn't have been done in error or by mistake? When missprints happen on toys, books, and various manufactured goods - is that done intentionally? There is a whole collectors market for toys, books, coins, various goods - that have errors/missprints/mistakes... Individuals routinely make mistakes and screw up things that people find difficult to fathom... Quality control is even worse when you consider that most of these goods end up getting manufacturd in overseas factories...

I'll ask again - why isn't anyone claiming that the 'mandala effect' altered the toy and changed it the incorrect quote that it says now?

How come the mandala effect never changes anything of consequence or significance? How come the dates of well known major events/wars have never changed? Or the order of the U.S. presidents? Why is this alleged phenomenon always reserved for the most trivial and inconsequenial minutia of human society/culture?

Comparing between this and what OP posted, they sound extraordinarily similar.

I have various restorations and transfers from 16mm (puggos) 35mm (TN1), 80s TV, VHS, and numerous different Laserdiscs.

They are all just like that.

But also believe in the Mandela effect to deny the fact of there being two, and try to make others believe there's only one version that says "No, I am your father" ??

I have watched ESB on On TV, HBO, Basic Cable and saw the Special Edition 3 times in the Theater

All together I've seen The Empire Strikes Back probably around 100 times, easy, maybe as much as 150 times.

I've seen it straight, drunk, high, tripping and while fasting.

The person who knows NOTHING is the person who thinks that Darth ever said "Luke, I am your father." He didn't, it's fake, and that's that.

But no, the reality is not being reshaped before our eyes. People either remember wrong (e.g. location of New Zealand or the death of Nelson Mandela) or don't understand that directors release new cuts with new/altered dialogue.

I'm surprised no-one has started a Mandela Effect thread on Blade Runner and its half a dozen versions.

I think Darth Vader says "Luke Skywalker" at some point in A New Hope and some jerk just pulled "Luke" from there and dubbed it in.

Can't tell, I have never seen any one of the Star Wars movies.

The audio (dialog and sound effects) in the Star Wars series has been altered regularly since the initial run and during the first series of reruns.

This is well known.

Gorge Lukas was changing stuff in the originals even before the prequels were started.

I've seen it only three times, and have the memory of an elephant. Did you play it at your wedding, too? There's also more than one legitimate version, which is clearly what I'm providing for anyone to see. I'm also showing anyone there's no such thing in the Mandela effect.

It's YouTube.. pretty sure 128 was the highest bitrate
