I use to never think about germs. I am becoming a full fledged germaphobe. No danger of stds because I'm in a happy monogamous relationship/married- but am just becoming phobic about germs in general!! If, God forbid, I am someday not with my husband any longer- I will become celibate !!!

That would be me. I was thinking if my husband dies first (again, God forbid)- whatever age I am- I will just not want to consider anyone else/date/ all that.

I feel the same way. I’ve been married for almost 15 years now and I couldn’t dream of being with another woman... Not just because of my personal beliefs but because there could never be anyone that would be good enough to replace her. Some animals in nature are this way too.

That is me. Since 1998. I was burnt to cinders AND had tons of much better things to do, so it came naturally. I was overloaded with social contact too, in an environment where that's not even on the radar. It all combined but would not have mattered. Plus one is older and everything one does can have a stteak of mastery and fine art. When what was most important to you is just "gone" and you cope by looking all around for connection, you realize that the very best you have to offer is now possible to most every living thing you see. If you notice and make half the joy in your single/celibate life as you tried to in your previous one for two, you will win a contest, meet 5 people you like at coffee and do 3 masterpieces of some kind, go-kart, raft or para sail motor.
On your own, all your aptitudes return and you are most excellent at what you were cut out to be excellent at. Nothing impedes or supercedes the return of all your "kunlong".
