Anyway, I came across this map and wanted a thread to post it in as I'm close to useless re: making/monitoring a thread. Congratulations, your thread won OP. The link is from a 1909 Hawaiian newspaper. [link to chroniclingamerica.loc.gov (secure)] AdorableLittlepixie I am safe and protected with every step I take with everybody always. |

(Warning, this link take you to a direct download of a 7.477 mb jpg image, but can alternatively prob be found on most image search engines in smaller filesize if needed) i'm linking the larger because it is verified as the authentic version and what I'd like to point out requires decent resolution to notice. [link to collections.leventhalmap.org (secure)] Please notice on this image on the far left near the roman numeral XII that this area of the ice wall / barrier / firmament / "antarctica" / whatever you prefer calling it (name unrelated to the point i'm making), the width of this part relative to the width of the rest of the barrier around the map is substantially thinner. It occurs closest to New Zealand on that map. Specimen two, the United Nations Seal. We all know it: Most recent official version I can find: [link to www.google.com (secure)] Please notice here the laurel leaves surrounded every bit of the earth depicted here EXCEPT directly outward from New Zealand where the leaves open up, similar to the map before possibly? Could there be a way through/out here? Interesting. The UN logo is an FE AE map layout, with 33 radial segments imposed over it, which is sinister enough, but the "gap" between the laurel leaves had never occurred to me. Good catch! Don't Steltzner me, bro! |

Take a large circular plate and a small flashlight. Circle the light around the center of the plate to mimic the midnight sun at the Arctic circle in summer. Have the light at a slight angle to mimic the passage of day and night on the rest of the globe. Pretty easy eh? Now assuming that the lands south of the equator are real and all the people you have met who claim to be from Australia or Argentina etc, aren't paid NASA shills.... Repeat the process on the outside rim of the plate to mimic the midnight sun in the Antarctic. Make sure the entire plate rim is illuminated at all times. Make sure not to get any light on the centre of the plate, because they are in the long Arctic winter night. The person who succeeds in this experiment will be the hero of youtube for all time.
