Jesus NEVER states that the Holy Spirit is HIS Spirit.

And He ALWAYS refers to "THE Holy Spirit"...not "MY Spirit".

He also refers to the Holy Spirit as "He".

The Holy Spirit comes from the Father. These verses support that thought.

"Only God is good"

Luke 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Jesus NEVER states that He is "Holy"...although MOST of us would agree that He is, for the simple fact that He is the Son of God.

One last thought.

Here's John 14. Notice that Jesus states "WE will come unto him".

John 14

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

We don't just get Jesus...or the Holy Spirit.

We get ALL that is of God...all 3.

And at any given point, any one of the 3 can do whatever the Father's Will is in our lives.
