Mandela Effect: Professor gives lecture on how they are changing the past to CONTROL the future
More Mandela information we just can't explain.

And it's creepier than we thought. They are Changing the Past to Control Our Future.

Can you tell me who the Prof is and how long the videos are?

48 minutes and 20 minutes in length respectively, not sure the professor's name in the first but he's going over all the know suspects: Mandela, Snow White, Berenstain Bears, and others.

I still have 68 GB left on my phone cellular plan and have used 138 GB on my unlimited home WiFi cellular plan with 7 days left until the new plan month begins. I would gladly share it with you if there were a way.

There was a great thread with discussion here last week, but it's already fallen off of my active threads list.

Man, still having 68 gig left would be a dream. We get 10 gig. lol. The only cell company that works here gives you"unlimited" of 15 gigs. Definition of unlimited is pretty shaky there.

I'll have a look at my recent posts. I get almost all of the reported effects if I'm familiar with the subject.

Does he put it together in the 20 minute video? I don't need a recap on effects really.

Thanks!

I'm still busy at work so have not watched either of them just a quick look.

Mrs. Louis and I both see and feel the effects.

We once actually saw a 'wave' pass over our physical reality [the location we were at, at the time].

I'm not sure how else to describe it but it was about ten years ago. For us that is when the remembered past began to change in the now moment.

I've seen things shift in front of me once. Our daughter saw it as well. It was "Lord of the Rings" gaining a "the" when we were searching that effect on the internet. It said "Lord of the Rings" and when I got my camera ready it changed to "The Lord of the Rings".

But I have never seen a wave like you describe.

Wow ! A wave? I saw something about December 2011 and so did two of my children and there was my former cat in there too.We all saw a sword sticking out of the air and moving. The cat moved back right away and was terrified and we still don't know what it was!If they want to change our future and I believe that they have already,we have been robbed of our potential.

Thank you for this.

We have seen things as well: a figure walking through the wall of our home, a 'ghost cat' walk into a kitchen cabinet through its door, a figure of the former owner of our home standing in our kitchen captured by accident unintentionally.

Has anyone here examined retrocausality?

Like where something in the future has such an enormous impact, that the shaking (frequency) from the future sends reverberations along the time line. It's actually a physics idea, quantum in effect. A little nod to the Buddhist principle of the eternal now.

Re: Mandela Effect: Professor gives lecture on how they are changing the past to CONTROL the future
I watched the first 15 minutes. I noticed something the first two examples had in common (Life was like a box of chocolates, and Interview with the vampire). Odd grammar.

Saying life WAS like a box will indicate it no longer is like that. In an assumed context using "was" isn't just odd grammar, it's bad grammar if life is still like a box of chocolates.

Perhaps a person even when seeing Forrest Gump yesterday with it fresh on their mind won't remember the syntax of every sentence in the movie. They'll say "Life IS like a box of chocolates" because that's the correct syntax.

Similarly, because people generally acknowledge within vampire mythology that more than one vampire exists it's proper syntax when it's said "Interview with A vampire".

Perhaps in a matter of context the reporter had one particular vampire available to interview so the title of the book/movie was a reference to first person character thoughts. In the case of the vampire, It seems an artsy turn of phrase. In the case of Gump it could be a reference to Gump's quirkiness and the fact that his mother was dead (I'm not sure whether his mom was still alive at that time, just guessing). "...always said, life was like a box of chocolates" puts a certain sadness in the character progression.

I don't think it was the mandela effect, rather a type of quirkiness in the way scripts and titles are devised, and in the way they are remembered.

I get ya, but no. This isn't just quirkiness and faulty memory.

I read the stupid book. "Interview with A Vampire" back in the early 90's. It wasn't "the". It was "a".

Also, on our copies of Forrest Gump, it says "Life IS like a box of chocolates".

Personally, I don't like what I think is actually going on with this effect.

And I don't like that it's called Mandela effect either, because I really don't care for what the Mandela's did when you examine it.

Can you upload a copy of the clip? There are various softwares that will allow you to cut a clip from a movie. It would help your cause if you were able to show the same scene with different wording.

Barring that, the logical assumption is memory related per my examples. Incredible claims require incredible evidence.

Well again, just because it's in the clip doesn't mean the promotional art director was obligated to quote the clip. Also, that clip isn't the only one in the movie where the line is used and in at least one other place the phrase "Life is like a box of chocolates" is used.

It doesn't add up to much to suggest because the box says IS that every time it's quoted in the movie it should be the same. Even if WAS was on the box and in all the clips people would still tend to use correct syntax.

"Life was like a box of chocolates" isn't relevant when a person is trying to convey a truth in life. People will tend to use correct syntax. This can also explain why the promotional art contains the word IS. Maybe it was an unconsidered inclusion, maybe it was an executive decision, maybe IS polled better.

Gump was referring to his mother in the past tense. Can anyone confirm or deny that Gump's mother was dead at the moment in question?

I frequently post exactly that!!

Here is my most recent posting of it

"Time only appears to be linear. Everything exists in the eternal present, like frames of a motion picture film, all existing at once, yet each representing a different 'moment in time'.

But... run that film through 'the projector of human consciousness' and you experience the illusion of the passage of time.

An event of sufficient magnitude produces effects that occur not only after the event but also before it occurs."

Please explain that one, I do not see the correlation.

Also here is that figure I inadvertently caught in a photograph.

Previously we have heard the sound of the former homeowner weeping (she died unexpectedly in an accident) and I have seen her in the kitchen as well.

I had just installed a new washer and took a picture of it. Little did I realize at the moment I took the photo I also captured her reflected in the control knob.

I did not use a GLP PotatoCam to take the picture. This is a blow up of the circled area that is physically about one inch in diameter on the control knob and it is a reflection of something far behind me.

Here is the ghost of the former homeowner reaching into a kitchen cabinet. That is a straight cabinet edge, it is not straight in the picture because of the figure standing in front of it just to the right.

It's not established as fact that the movie line changed. Citing memories and a non-existent clip on youtube is not credible evidence despite your insistence.

The original Brother's Grimm text does state mirror, mirror... but of course Disney was under no obligation to use the text of the book verbatim.

Furthermore, just because Disney opted to change the dialogue doesn't mean all Disney products from that time forth were required to use the same phrasing.

You just simply do not get it. So you really shouldn't talk about it because you are coming from a place of complete ignorance.

In our household, memorizing and repeating movie lines is a thing. It is done regularly and repeatedly. It's from my husband, not me. But the kids memorized entire dialogues, verbatim. And he does as well. So, they KNOW what changed. And I loved Snow White as a child, as did our youngest here. Well, the movie line on our copy changed. And the book from my child hood also changed.

Re: Mandela Effect: Professor gives lecture on how they are changing the past to CONTROL the future
Look, you can "believe" what you want. But the fact is the line in the movie changed. Someone had a normal clip on youtube, but that has been at least 2 years back.

Just like "Mirror, Mirror" Even a movie with that name and now it's never said that in the film...Ha.

If you want to be in denial, that's fine. But things are changing on your shelf, in your home, and it's not normal by any stretch of the imagination.

FWIW, you are correct.

They remember what is.

We remember what was.

They are unaware that it has changed because they changed too or were never aware of it in the first place so rely on what info they can find now.

Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country,
don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy.

The Mandela Effect is a cross between flat-earthers and NASA.

Please explain that one, I do not see the correlation.

More Mandela information we just can't explain.

And it's creepier than we thought. They are Changing the Past to Control Our Future.

 Quoting: Sciencefan

I get ya, but no. This isn't just quirkiness and faulty memory.

it's just a test to see if people even notice when past information is altered.

In debate there are always two sides with opposing viewpoints. Your suggesting I shut up does not help your argument.

Memory can be faulty and I have even provided some of the logic for why this is so. It's not so much what I believe as what I don't believe and so far I have not seen any credible evidence that would lead me to believe in the Mandela effect or in your assertions.
