Satan visits people in dreams FAR more often than God. I once had a dream where "Jesus Christ" told me he would crush me like an insect. But it was obviously Satan.

And Satan ALWAYS tells people lies about eternal hellfire and punishment, in order to SCARE people away from God. You can't love or respect God if you're terrified of Him. People who fear God tend to worship Him because they're scared of punishment, and not because they actually love Him, which is what He wants. Satan rules with fear; God rules with love. Never forget that!

Bible-thumpers were the reason why I HATED Christianity as a teenager, because I can't stand the fear-tactics of "repent or your loving God will torture you forever!!" It makes God look bad. Eternal torture DOES NOT exist. God simply annihilates His enemies.

Don't worry about who does and doesn't go to hell. Leave that up to God.

Pretty sure Michael Jackson was a messed-up victim of childhood abuse on an epic scale.

I believe that God and Christ have infinite mercy. Hell, if *I* have decent mercy, how much better is God's?

You can choose to fear God just because some words in a human-written book tell you to, if you want. You have free will.

I'll choose to continue LOVING Him with all my heart and soul, and for me to do so, I have to be comfortable with God and unafraid of Him.

Why would I want to fear my own Father and Creator? Love and fear do not go together. You can't truly love what you fear. Which means the god-fearers don't really love God, they just don't want to be damned.

God isn't some hateful asshole that's constantly looking for reasons to punish everyone. He is very loving and forgiving, far more than most Christians realize.

Sometimes I have fleeting thoughts. I go through a series of steps on my mind how I would approach preaching to certain people. Very unapproachable people. It sounds weird. Michael Jackson would have been most difficult.

I've always had a problem with the concept of hell. The few verses that even talk about it don't match up with what the status quo insists is the truth. I know that I personally would never torture even my worst enemy for all eternity. I can't even imagine a situation where I would. And therein lies the problem...Am I more forgiving than God?

If I believe in a situation where the most loving God can torture his own children for all eternity, then I must believe that God's Love and forgiveness are finite.

Any good Christian knows better though.
