The Crickets are chirping outside, it's late August. Soon there'll be that crisp, chilly air at night. | |

Soon there'll be that crisp, chilly air at night. It's already like that in Quebec. Crisp nights. I love it. Many years you bore with them and warned them by your Spirit through your prophets. Yet they would not give ear. Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands. You gave your good Spirit to instruct them and did not withhold your manna from their mouth and gave them water for their thirst. Nevertheless, they were disobedient and rebelled against you and cast your law behind their back and killed your prophets, who had warned them in order to turn them back to you, and they committed great blasphemies. Soon there'll be that crisp, chilly air at night. The nearing 14th straight hour of the metallic-alien-bug-symphony, courtesy of Chicago's finest cicadas is outside. Quoting: MyForcedScreenName Soon there'll be even more disgustingly humid and warm at night. With ya on humid warm nights. The u.s. weather map is red day in day out. But I'll tell you somethin' funny. We noticed the cicadas testing out their new gyro-whirr equipment 2 days ago. My son and I were out after sunset just yapping when a new cicada fat baby slammed into his head and just sat on the hood of the car. To think they've been waiting 18 years underground for their present debut boggles the mind. Anybody would be disoriented after 18 years of nothing but dark dirt. |
