Short term /Sunday through Tuesday/...
deep-layered high pressure will persist over the area as a tropical
wave drifts west near Florida, forcing onshore flow through the
period. Enhanced moisture levels and sufficient forcing will
increase chances of showers/thunderstorms. Soundings do not
currently appear impressive for severe weather parameters, but an
isolated strong storm cannot be entirely ruled out. Otherwise,
expect near to above-normal temperatures.

Long term /Tuesday night through Friday/...
deep-layered ridging will continue through much of next week, with
the potential for a tropical wave to impact the area late in the
week. Given the moist onshore flow it appears as though rain chances
will be near or even above normal through the period, especially in
Georgia. However, no significant weather impacts are anticipated.
Temperatures should be near to above normal.
