Quoting: T-Man in America alone im sure. but this is extra sad because i believe diabetes people have to take drugs. unlike lets say anti depressants that you could stop using (whether or not its smart) But i believe diabetes people are really dependent on theirs it sounds like a lot of other meds you have to take for the rest of your life, like high blood pressure, thyroid, etc The Xigduo XR I was taking it wasn't the type to force me to be on it for the rest of my life. My doctor told me I was going to lose some weight. She wasn't lying about losing some weight, but I had just a thirty day's supply bottle of that stuff. Since it was the type of meds you had to take once a day with food I got a 120 count of those mini-pencil length Slim Jim boxes from Amazon I ate up to a fistful of those Slim Jims almost every morning before taking a Xigduo XR pill. I had virtually no problems with the Metformin crap as well. I also found out a week or two ago that Metformin is a critical component in EVERY diabetes medications in the U.S. and Metformin causes up to extreme digestive tract issues for days and even weeks. This was my case with the extreme side effects at 1000mg doses. I kid you not when it's truly a tragedy when you have to devote most of your cognitive processes to planning out where all the restrooms in town are and worst of all can't trust your farts whatsoever which are almost constant hellfire torrents. I didn't know about that side effect for Metformin. My husband takes 1000 mg twice a day. He often has gas and stomach pain. Yeah. Metformin eats away at your entire digestive tract, makes it feel as though you're literally on fire from your esophagus to your anus. You can literally feel every cubic inch of your entire digestive tract constantly throbbing as it feels as though even your digestive tract knows to try to get away from the fire that's all around it and inside of it. Your anus will burn with a white hot intensity because you'll be crapping bile, and other digestive fluids almost with every bowel movement. Anything you drink and/or eat will run right through you in less than an hour. Your own saliva will be turned against your digestive tract as well. Want to sob from the pain? Too fucking bad!! You'll be walking around as though you got the biggest and thickest dildo permanently stuck up your rectum and anus available on Earth as your frequent farts feel as your colon, rectum, and anus (all three) are burning with a white-blue constant fire. Don't you fricken dare keep your bottom uncovered because even slight cool breezes will make you feel as though your anus is on fire with somehow an even more intensely burning fire. The longer this goes on the bile and other digestive juices from your small and large intestines will begin to seriously corrode your inner butt cheeks. Initially, it will feel to be like a sun burn down there. Over time whenever you wipe yourself down there after each bowel movement you'll begin to feel a certain roughness in your inner butt cheek skin. What comes next is what feels to be actual exposed butt fat and/or meat. This will feel so immensely awful that chances are you've done run out of actual tears which to shed by now. So all you're capable of doing now is dry heaving as you begin to feel consumed by worry and panic that you're on the verge of your imminent demise. This is roughly the time I stopped taking my 1000 mgs of Metformin. It took me roughly about a month and a half of trial and error on my own behalf with the last three weeks of that period to finally come to the well thought out and pain staking process that this Metformin crap was literally killing me from the inside out. Yeah, so I lost at least ten pounds in a hurry. The form of weight loss Metformin offers is very unhealthy as far as I'm concerned. Very unhealthy because you can't keep anything down without you literally shooting what feels to be literal gallons of fire water out your back side as per every bowel movement of yours. Last July I cut my left small finger to the bone cutting onions with a new real sharp knife. I neglected to get it stitched up. I put Neosporin on it and a cotton cover and wrapped it about five times over the ensuing 6 weeks. One time I left it on too long and the cotton grew inside the skin. I kept the Neosporin on and went swimming and took a bath and over several days did nothing. I looked at the bandage and it was copper sulfate green underneath. OOOOh, I ripped it off and cleaned it and redid it and got lucky. Still have a small piece of cotton ejecting out that never got pushed out of underneath the skin. Weird. Maybe I'll have a left pinky candle! Quoting: Beetlepumprr LOL I still have gravel and oddities surface from old wounds. Just pick them out. |

I'm pretty certain diabetes these days is almost entirely caused by the GMO foods and drinks that are forced into virtually everything these days. This is why diabetes continues to run rampant and unchecked as well. The only way you can truly avoid diabetes is with a balanced diet, but that's extraordinarily expensive when you do that for every meal and/or drink every day. If you're disabled and on SSI Disability. Chances are your upwards $700 monthly check goes for your apartment rent. With SNAP monthly money that's upwards $12 a month. Good luck getting something eat and drink on a regular basis this way. So you're stuck with the super cheap GMO foods and drinks available while someone with a fantastic paying job can easily afford the balanced diet. Once you start, you are, most likely, never getting off. DMII has many causes, excessive alcohol, and being overweight are the most prevalent. My mom is 95 and takes a thyroid pill and an occasional Advil. Over the years doctors have tried to push all sorts of meds on her, including statins. Quoting: kangaroo_courtsR4real diabetes is a miserable affliction BUT weren't people better off managing the diabetes with the regular insulin and NPH ? cleaner than these pills etc let them make advances with insulin and diet as today one can even scan glucose levels from their skin without finger stick and no reports on cases of necrotic areas-yeah u have to rotate injection sites-so what ? there's plenty of areas to go through. this is ridiculous and horrendous to have happen to anyone. Diabetics always at risk for wounds that won't heal and thier blood is like soda pop for bacteria. I hate metformin. I keep mine on a lot of infection fighters as diet staples. They are taking antidote or damage control as much or more than a drug. I have 1 on it that i just advised - dementia didnt scare the lazy dope enough. The diabetes drug Metformin has so many POSITIVE side effects that it is suggested that you take it even if you don't have diabetes ( or prediabetes). Like.. preventing cancer, preventing glaucoma and is anti ageing! Quoting: Kiwi25 Do a search, or research it on LEF.com. Sorry but that is utter BULLSHIT! This was the selling schpiel when it came out. Diabetes, psychosis....like that poster said "literally everybody should be eating this!" That was marketing. A drug only has to work or work right in 1 out of 5 people taking it. If 1 out of 5 get a benefit, fda labels it a drug for that condition. I have wrestled fools over this bullshit drug that is also attributed with causing dementia. Necrotizing fascitis and dementia....both coochies rotted out! Essiac and reishi, cordyceps mushroom. This was in Jan 2016 and it never healed. Just spent two weeks in hospital with three more surgeries and am home but bedridden for several more weeks. Looking into a lawsuit.... Im sorry if this sounds really ignorant. But when you say lost... YOu really mean by a flesh-eating bacteria? Like part of your foot is missing? Or no longer working? So sorry to hear this. Hope its atleast all over now? and whats left is recovering? Or could it get worse? Amputation. Transmetatarsal amputation. They did not get all of the bacteria with that amputation and I have been fighting it ever since. Antibiotics stopped working and infection spread over last few months. Staph infection in blood stream landed me in hospital. Got a new podiatrist and he wants to try to save foot. The three Surgeries I just had were to remove the infected tissue/bone and then close up what is left of the foot. Which looks like something from Frankenstein now. This doesn't work then they will take ankle and rest of foot. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

Now, the FDA is warning patients and doctors about this highly concerning problem, which is also known as Fournier’s gangrene. The drugs that have been linked to the illness belong to a class of medications known as SGLT2 inhibitors and include Eli Lilly and Co.’s Jardiance, Farxiga from AstraZeneca Plc, and Invokana from Johnson & Johnson. In total, the FDA’s list contains more than 12 medications that will be required to carry a warning about the serious infection. I took Invokana and after a short time began having repeated UTI's. I stopped taking it after a few months but the UTI's and other urinary problems continue to this day. Makes me wonder if my kidneys are have been murdered! I hate this disease and I will just say this folks, IF a doctor ever tells you that you are in danger of getting Diabetes, do WHATEVER you have to do to avoid it....I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. UTIs/Yeast infections are a side effect of Invokana as it pulls glucose out of the bloodstream and you urinate it out - one of the reasons it also causes weight loss. Of course, glucose in the urinary tract = yeast overgrowth. Probably worth checking if it's yeast instead of a UTI as the treatment is different. |

High sugar damages the small blood vessels and capillaries, ultimately destroying them, and the nerves, thus diabetic neuropathy. This means that antibiotics in the bloodstream cannot reach areas where the blood vessels are destroyed, and any infection can be extremely serious. God Bless You! This doesn't work then they will take ankle and rest of foot. Carnac, not sure if it's possible for you to do it, but if you can topically apply colloidal silver and oil of oregano to the skin where the infection is, it might help. They both enter through the pores and are natural antibiotics. I had MRSA which did not respond to antibiotics and I tried both of these, which helped somewhat, but combining them really did the trick. If you can, eat a lot of garlic, it is also a natural antibiotic. Best eaten raw after crushing it. Let it sit for 10 minutes after you put it through a garlic press to let the chemicals comingle to form allicin, which they believe is the active ingredient. You can put it on buttered toast, in a spoonful of peanut/almond butter, in mashed potatoes...anyway you can get it down raw. Good luck and God bless you! God Bless You!
