Fwiw- I think she probably did tell Trump , but he is better off not doing it where his words could be misconstrued, out of context or used against him, then just played aloof that he didn't know
Think about it, what good would come of him being in the book, it would just sell more books for Woodward, and frankly who gives a crap about that
Quoting: TenaciousSeaGoat agree with this. i can understand exactly why Trump would not want to go on record with an investigative journalist. Even the preparations for such a meeting would be a huge investment of time with zero potential upside for Trump. Trump minimized his risk there, for sure.
