Have you asked the doctors to sign it off for you? after the brain surgeries when I walk it looks like I'm drunk and about to fall sideways, so I have to use a cart to get by. I can walk a few to the door until I can get a cart. Plus, I have back problems with the two rods. Anxiety and panic attacks when I go out or drive. I have to have my inhaler on hand just in case. The lawyers are telling me my case won't hit the courts until Jan. and Food stamps is telling me I can't get them unless I have a doctors note. But, how can I go to the doctor's with no insurance to pay the bill. lol I do have a handicap placard. You have to pay to visit a GP? What fucked up shit is this? |

DaveySprockett User ID: 73375125 United Kingdom 09/09/2018 08:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm sure there are ways to train and exercise with these physical impediments. There are soldiers that have had their limbs blown off and mutilated, and they still manage to gain athlete level strength and conditioning. If you make an effort to improve your fitness, not to a superhuman level, but to a point where you can feel the benefits and it improves your quality of life, you'll gain the motivation to go further. Don't go raving mad at the beginning, and ignore the advice friends and the Internet provides, it'll give you nothing but confusion and demoralisation. Just aim to be fitter, improve your strength, and look at life in a more positive way. Start out walking, climbing stairs, doing pushups, moving in any way that exerts an effort, have fun too, climb things, run just because you want to, find new ways to move around your environment that challenges you. Be mindful of your limitations, push them but don't over exert, anything that you can do easily, try to make it harder, in increments. Just be imaginative, many things in your daily life can be used to somehow improve your level of fitness. It doesn't have to be a huge step, just as long as you try to improve, even in small increments, and at as slow a pace as you wish, after all, you're not training for any other reason than to make your own life better, there's no pressure, no goal, not anything to consider outside of your own wellbeing. Just be more active, and each week make a little more effort than the week before. Don't consider it a routine or a chore, it's not something you need to adhere to religiously, just find something you enjoy, and if you need, with people you enjoy the company of, and don't get overly obsessed with results. Before long, you'll have gotten yourself fitter, with very little effort, and find that you are no longer bored, and will continue to improve in leaps and bounds. Nope. Nope Nope! My spine is curved because of scheuermann's disease and scoliosis. There is always a way around anything, any disability, no matter what, I wasn't suggesting a full blown bodybuilding routine, and never would to any beginner. Ask your doctor for simple exercises that might improve your posture, and strengthen the muscles in your back a little. Increase your physical activity in small amounts, each day, week or month, don't sit around with a defeatist attitude, otherwise you'll just sink further into physical decay and eventually will be incapable of anything, and grow more comfortable seeing yourself as a helpless victim. You can help yourself, if you put your mind to it. Have a bit of determination. Once you feel the benefits you'll thank yourself that you had the guts to do so. DaveySprockett |
