My "trade" is disaster mitigation and recovery.

I am a civilian with .gov credentialing to work as a contractor for the Commerce department. (the CD dept is responsible for the weather, not NASA, not FEMA, etc...)

Anyway, I have never been called out and it not be a shit storm. Ironically, I was not called into Katrina until AFTER the levee' broke.

Ny job is ensure affected structures and safe for rehabilitation. Although, I often find dead bodies, lost animals, injured wildlife, looters, etc... So yeah, I am strapped when I enter.

We are rallying in Raleigh NC on Saturday, and re-assessing at that point. Depending on how things go, I may have some fucking amazing photos, OR absolutely nothing.
