I lived in Huntersville/Cornelius area for like 7 years. There's literally a Duke Power nuclear station with 2 reactors 2 miles from where my house was on the shore of Lake Norman near Blythe Landing. Revbo, one of our mods was on the water with me/friends when I inter tubed by it being pulled by boat. They've got real problems brother; no doubt. If any of these areas flood significantly this could get really bad really quickly. Like you said, it's totally fucked.

Quoting: Nickadimus hope you are out of there now brother! Quoting: Q33 Gawn brother. I live in metro Atlanta now. Nick® Quoting: Nickadimus Nick now they are saying atlanta georgia will be effected [ link to www.godlikeproductions.com] Quoting: Q33 According to Luisport's latest update, it looks like the "southern ridge' that was blocking it from turning south was the weakest of the other two, and is now failing, in which case, it looks like it will turn south after landfall and affect NE Ga. If I'm just shooting from the hip, with the mileage in-between, I'd say we'll get lots of wind and rain, but nothing to run and hide over. It's all up in the air right now anyhow; no pun intended.
