I’ve been in the Subterranean Chamber of the Great Pyramid, aka the Unfinished Chamber. You have to scrunch up and crab-walk down through a perfectly carved, angled, rectangular tunnel to get down there. There’s a pit in the middle and, as its name attests, the rest looks to be roughly-hewn, unfinished work. Interesting to consider that this location (or even still deeper underground) could be what precipitated whomever built the Great Pyramid to build it on top of this location. I wonder what the significance was. I wonder...

Also known as the Unfinished Chamber, the Subterranean Chamber is reached by a very small, perfectly symmetrical tunnel that dives down deeply diagonally after having branched off from the Grand Gallery.

I've always suspected the Great Pyramid was built over an existing spot of significant importance on the Giza Plateau. The questions are: What sort of significant importance? Built by whom? Built when? For what purpose?
