I like this explanation ^^^ or black hats (domestic or foreign) bought house close to observatory for spying/hacking/other and were discovered.

Look at this place. Out in the middle or nowhere,pleasantly so, townies nice,open,friendly... the observatory/facility was not hyper fortified...

If I were up to no good, this is the kind of place I would pick.

The Sunspot Observatory sits atop a mountain overlooking Holliman AFB and White Sands Testing Grounds.

White Sands has been used in the past as an alternate landing site for shuttle missions. Perhaps it is being utilized for this yet again. Either the TR3B or another craft from the secret space program is making an unscheduled landing. Florence could be impacting landing sites on the East Coast, like Andrews AFB, forcing them to utilize White Sands. Shutting down the observatory prevents prying eyes from seeing something they're not supposed to.

I believe Clyde Lewis was talking about this very thing last night on his show, but I fell asleep an hour in....Clyde admitted he was worried and also a bit paranoid at the moment over this...

This story has now made the front page of Drudge...if it's on Drudge, it's a big deal.

Not to put a damper on all the alien end of the world theory's but, the telescope floats on what is called a Mercury float bearing.

The bearing is filled with metric tons of highly toxic mecury, it is the same setup used in light houses.

They could be evacuating because of a toxic leak of Mercury or something else used in the operation of the telescope...

just for a mercury leak.

Except no Hazmat team was on site, so that rules out a mercury leak... or any other hazardous chemical.

And how do you know this.... You don't! The thing is 200 feet below ground and the surrounding area has been evacuated where you can't see what's going on for the very purpose of the public not being able to track the goings on of the operation lol...

This stuff doesn't take a genius to figure out, just put the tin foil hats down once in awhile and use some of those critical thinking skills you hopefully learned in school..

That's been ruled out a long time ago, absolutely no evidence of hazmat or anything related to handling toxic substances. Doesn't explain why people were seen climbing some of the antenna's. Doesn't explain the black helicopter.
And we know this wasn't hasmat related because of plenty of reports from people who saw it going down live
It's not related to a toxic threat. They may come out and say it was, but it wasn't.
