Ya’ll are Crazy. I called the Kitt Peak national solar observatory in Tucson Arizona, which is a sister facility to Sunspot and asked them what was up. Whomever answered the phone said they are open for business and whatever happened at Sunspot is a security incident. Kitt Peak uses similar telescopic equipment to observe the sun and has no plans on closing in the future. Food for thought.

I honestly think this is the most likely reason. Something is going down at Holloman AFB and they got real or fake FBI in to clear it out and maybe fit monitoring equipment to towers?
The most simple seems most likely, if it was a solar or space issue then other observatories would be closed also and despite reports i have not actually seen evidence of this.

It is the best mystery cos it is real on here for a long time imo
