It's not in the middle of nowhere. It sits above (altitude wise) Holloman AFB and also sees White Sands.

In fact it was an AF facility for both solar research, to ensure safe testing of various tech's and also as an observatory of tests being carried out at both bases that may be effected by bursts.

So my best guess is that something or someone was flying in or out of either base, and they 100% didnt want anyone accidentally seeing it/them.

A few other online solar observatories went sown same day, and are still down, including one here in NSW, Australia, but they are web based, so easy to take down. IMHO they are down only to create a plausible deniability, and keep everyone focussed on the sun and out into space.

If someone at the observatory called in something they saw at either base, such as a plane crash, or something to that effect, it would naturally bring FBI to the location, as it is no longer a military jurisdiction. They would have to bring FBI in to close it down and cordon it off to the public so no-one else could film or see what ever it was they didnt want folks to see at either base.

Whilst everyone is looking up, and out, and discussing Nibiru and UFOs, the action is going on just down the hill.....

... mind you it could still be UFO related! Just at ground level.

This would be the AF/FBI/CIA/NSA playbook regarding a sighting, no? Make everyone look over there whilst something is happening here?
