This woman will probably not make it through this winter. There is no hanging on even until the next election cycle.

All her clerks are doing the work now, no way she’s capable of doing anything other than wiping the drool from her mouth, and even that was a chore for her.

There’s a reason there is an age for retirement in the normal work force.

There should be age limits on SC, this is ridiculous and just shows she has NO good sense and should not be making decisions in the higher court.

She made a political statement when she said she won’t let Trump replace her, she will dig in and won’t leave, only by death.

She was hanging in there for Hillary to pick her replacement. Do you think she will make it until the next Democrat gets in?

I don't see either Parkinson's or dementia. Definitely not dementia. She's sharp, as you can tell from recent oral arguments (which are all video recorded at the SCOTUS website.) Her mind is fast but her speech is slow, sometimes there's a mismatch where the mind gets ahead of the speech and she skips a word or several.

What I do see is cold extremities. Those look like thermal gloves to keep her hands warm. She probably has thermal socks or even leggings on her feet. Circulation in the extremities slows down as arteries clog.

She could be suppressing a Parkinson's tremor by keeing her hands together so one will hold the other still.

I'd say her general health is good. She's declining gracefully in old age.

She may think she's near the end now, and speaking the truth is important. She's not going after Kavanaugh at all, but saying he's being unfairly treated by the Senate.

I agree with this. She is staying past her best years to keep the left-wing seat. I wish she would not do that, of course.

She looks like many people I have seen in nursing homes. She's not long for the earth. If she had honor, she would retire and enjoy whatever time she has left with her family. She's not fit to work anymore.
