Some of you guys on GLP can be so cruel to these guys sometimes and I just want to say thank you for saving their arses in this nasty weather hurricane and putting yourselves on the line, and also the gas explosion in MA. Be safe and take care. It also goes for all the people in the hospitals on on call to save these people.

Live Cnn interview at 4:00 am EDT - Cajun Navy doing rescues in southern Wilmington areas and neighborhoods that were dry today and tonight and have never flooded in 30-40 years,according to folks being rescued. These areas just started flooding suddenly middle of night and the good Cajun Navy team went out to get them, basically knocking on doors to get folks and pets to safety.
They had no where else to take them, so they sheltered at the Cajun Navy’s base building space- everyone just sitting on chairs at tables,they have about 147 now and are in process of rescuing 300-500. The Spokesperson said they really ia surprised by how fast the water has risen- and by the speed and strength of the current. He said 1 foot of water is hard to even stand in, it’s moving so hard and swiftly.

And lets hope if they are injured they get better pain management than my partner's friend who killed himself with pills and booze after breaking his back falling out of a cherry picker.
