Solar observatory closure not a mystery
I ignored this story until earlier today, because it was not a mystery as to why the FBI shut down the observatory and forced everyone out. Now that the story has gone so viral, the story I heard was that a rocket with a classified payload failed in launch, and came down near the observatory (within a couple miles) so the black hawks and FBI moved in and got everyone out of there. No aliens, no solar flares, nothing of the sort.

I am repeating this because I keep seeing this story surface.

Closure or not I am interested in the “moon” passing because it corresponds to the other video from 2012. And according to Astro has only happened one other time. The pics are sequential so it passed in rapid speed by and back by in different directions. So fats you barely see it.

I see no evidence a telescope was used, and actually it looks like stray light through crummy optics. I don't see anything compelling there at all. The comments section say she used an iPhone 8, so not exactly research grade equipment that is capable of discovering new celestial bodies unseen by an army of dedicated amateur astronomers...

The video lost all credibility when it tried to claim the SDO double eclipse was anything other than the moon.
