Real reason for telescope closing ! (Mercury poisoning !!!!!)

Can't ship it in glass plus it's a haz mat. So that theory is out.

a thief being ignorant of the dangers will ship it in an unsafe container ....

mercury is actually more expensive than silver , so for some people its a temptation to steal ,,,,

they first shut the place down , then at a moment hazmat cleaners come in in the dark of the night with their few tons of sulfur dust to spray all over the place ,,,

seen it a few times .....

so this is an example of what may be ongoing there .....

employees having fun with liquid mercury , kids at homes playing with the stuff , spilling it all over the place

well you have to shut down the whole town and evacuate it !

then comes the evaluation team then the hazmat & clean up teams ....

and trace were all the metal went , ( maybe to some Youtube movie makers making it react to aluminium creating a huge super poison disposal problem ) just for making a fun movie ,

just imagine one of this idiots spilling a bottle inside an airplane that had accidentally passed security ?

it will ruin the airplane completely ( total loss ) make it non air worthy as its impossible to decontaminate , say $200 million dollar loss if its a big airplane !
