Moses represents the Law
Joshua represents Yeshua Messiah
The Promised land represents the "saved / redeemed" life
the law cannot save or redeem
therefore it cannot lead you into the promised land
the law can only lead you to the edge of the promised land and inform you that you are not in the promised land nor are capable of entering it yourself
