Taking a quick break from #Florence to look at another (even more) remarkable cyclone: #OmponghPH/#Mangkhut. Satellite loops show the Category 5 storm continuing to maintain full intensity up to and through the moment of landfall. Very unusual to see in spite of land interaction!

I do know the meaning of cat five, however in the Philippines they have a different scale. It's a signal number 4 and looks like it will make landfall over Northern Luzon.

They also use different names.

It will be bad in her area but not as bad as the coastal villages.
