Who went to the gym today? | |

Even when I didn't have a treadmill, I still worked out at home. I don't even use my treadmill a lot. I prefer to do my DVDs because they're a lot more fun and the time goes by faster. I find on my tread, even if I'm listening to music, it's too boring. I hate the treadmill but it’s where I see the most results. It does get boring! I usually listen to music and it helps. I use to do the DVD thing but I would end up being lazy in the comforts of my home and taking breaks to do this or that lol. I feel more motivated at a gym but hate working out with other random people at the same time if that makes sense. Lol Perfect sense, but it could be because I'm not a social butterfly lol I've slacked off the last 2 weeks because I was back at work. Usually, I get into my workout clothes as soon I get home and work out. Lol I am not a social butterfly either. I am more of an introvert. :) Breaks are good gives the muscles time to get confused hehe |

Quoting: VigilantTexan That's hot. :) You are hot. :) Now now. You're off topic. :) I don't wanna be on a topic, I wanna be on you, and sweaty. |

Quoting: LittleMissDictator I do it 2 times a day! So cardio I would say. Evenings I do kick boxing. Cool beans. Have a nice day! It takes a lot of energy to do cardio 3 times in a day, well done. I used to do amateur boxing and mmma, it's some of the most intense cardio there is. Is Zumba aerobics? |

Quoting: PatrikC325 That is a long time on an elliptical. I'm struggling after 20 or 25 min. I have short rest in between reps to keep the cardio up. Then I usually jump rope for 20 minutes off and on until I feel like puking. Last Edited by Thoseaintcontrails on 09/15/2018 02:04 PM |

What muscles and what type of cardio did you do? Quoting: Thoseaintcontrails Ran one mile outside Boxed 45 minutes 2 min rounds on the heavy bag and during 1 min break would do jump rope push-up or sit-ups I used to do boxing and bag work, it's pretty intense. I still love jumping rope, but I am slack on abs. |

Quoting: Surfer 7 Far better getting your workout outside, if I do workout inside it's in the dojo sparring. I prefer the gym over outside or home bc I work outside everyday and it motivates me to work harder in the gym when I see other people doing it. Exactly ^ I find I push myself harder in group workout settings. Plus the energy is soooo much better, pumps me up! |

Tone Loc User ID: 76594928 United States 09/15/2018 02:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a squat rack 10 feet from my bed and 400 pounds in cheap cast weights. But I do have two nice rubber 45 pound plates that are slightly bigger than the cast ones for when deadlifting. Also got a punching bag and some nice gloves and shin pads. I'll do deadlifts and barbell rows today. Then ill do 2 minutes bag work and 1 minute rest for 6 rounds a couple times a week. im a union refractory bricklayer. Seems to keep my joints and tendons strong to handle the stress of work. I just maintain my strength really. I'll be on the road a month or two get home and be at 315 lbs for reps on all lifts then take a week or two off from working and be back at 400 lbs for 4 or 5 reps on all lifts. That's plenty for me at 33 yo. Used to lift heavier when younger and I had a regular job where I could be home every night. But I can feel age creeping up. I stopped squatting to parallel this month knees felt like they were gonna explode even just warming up. I need to eat cleaner tho and cut out the beer. |
