Those network dumbasses messed up. Had the future of that show been left a mystery, people would tune in in epic numbers (at least for the first show), just to see what they were going to do. Now that they've revealed their plan, no one will tune in to watch that shit. Screw 'em.

If you watched the last season they were setting it up that she had a pill habit front chronic pain. So in that sense at least there is some continuity.

And I predict "The Conners" will die a fast death from a liberal overdose.

"they" are using one of Trump's biggest campaign promises-erradicating the opoid crisis (which he is following through in various ways as it is a multi pronged issue)

...as a storyline to kill off a beloved character. A fuck you to him, Roseanne and We The People.

Speaking from a lawyer background she can get out of this contract by just not showing up assuming she doesn't need the money that bad. Maybe they told her you do one episode and we will pay the rest of your contract. Having said that these contracts only work within organizations. I am referencing the nfl, nba, etc here. If a player breaches a contract no other teams will touch him making the contract hold. I have done cases in other business venues where people have signed a contract to stay somewhere for 10 years, and then a better job comes around and they leave and take the job. Most time the company that owns the contract does not even bring in to court, but the few times it has gone to court the employee always has won. You have the right to work in america and earn a living the best way you can. These contracts try to prohibit that and scare the employee into staying. Now roseanne might never work in hollywood again if she breached the contract but there is nothing they can do to stop her from applying for new jobs.,

She should make a new show called “Born Again”. Hire same actors, stage it in Swamps of Louisiana.

I was watching it on Hulu. It was yanked right after the Valerie Jarrett thing. I don't have cable so I don't know if any more shows were left in the season.

Did anyone else watch it? There were some references to gobbling children in one show with the biracial granddaughter. I don't know if it was done in fun or what.

Everything about the show was over the top PC. It is hard to imagine that it could get worse!

Reminds me of that ShowTime show, I think it was called the Big C. As far as I could tell, it was 100% pharma funded.
