And when he was holding the medusa/gorgo's husband head and athena's statue was collapsing he was symbolizing the good guy that defeated medusa/satan/lunar boss/queen.

This movie gave also intel of us killing our badass ancient father/family by mistake when a badass father after he escpaed the lunar queen's boat where he was undercover later when he was fighting the persians, him and his son almost killed each other by mistake not knowing they were standing next to each other.
