Seems to me that she should be formally censured for withholding evidence throughout the long hearings and then using it as a disruption after the fact. If she believed that this letter would change the course of the Kavanaugh hearings, why did she withhold it? And why is the Senate taking this without a complaint? She sits on the Senate Judiciary committee and did not disclose the contents of this letter to her fellow members. Later, when it is too late, she brings up this vague and strange letter. Either she should have entered it into discussion during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings, or she should have ignored it as too vague, too silly (no date, no year, no location, and not possible to validate), and moved on. This is binary, either/or Either Feinstein withheld important information from her fellow committee members, or she's abusing her position to embarrass a judge with a media circus with no basis. She should be formally censured. It is possible she also broke a law in withholding this letter, should it be deemed important evidence of K's character. Personally, from the letter and the other information to hand, I suspect it is merely a media circus. Feinstein is running for office and is getting lots of free face time on the media "opposing" Trump. A Congressman went to jail not so long ago for using free postage, which a Congress member can use to send informational messages to constituents. His peers convicted him of using that postage to boost his campaign. And that was just peanuts compared to the cost of hours of facetime on TV news. Peanuts!
