Re: CBD oil… This guy has it all figured out
As for me, It did not do a thing to help my chronic pain.
I bought the most concentrated form at $70/tiny bottle.
I used it topically and orally. No relief. Not even a little.
I bought a second bottle a few moths later to try a higher
dose. Again nothing except the wallet was lighter.

Do you recall the brand name of the CBD oil that you tried?

I do not remember but it is refined in Sandpoint Idaho a few miles north of Coeur D'Alene Idaho.

I got some good quality cbd in capsule and oil form. Was hoping it would help with chronic pain from a past surgery. Took 2 weeks and no results.

Had high hopes, but doesn't seem to affect me...

It works for most people that take it, but every now and then it just doesn't. Makes me wonder what is different about them that it doesn't affect them. It works with the endocannabinoid system that everyone has in their body, you think it would work for everyone. 1dunno1

I'm just cursed?

The pain is from having a chest tube and tumor removed from spine. Major nerve damage I figure.

There has been some studies on it, it can help with pain from neuropathy as well as possibly repair some of the nerve damage (just don't expect it to completely reverse).

Possibly. Sorry. If you haven't tried it yet you can try full spectrum cbd. It's supposed to work better for pain and inflammation. If that doesn't work for you, you're probably one of the unlucky.

No it will not! I'm just being honest, I suffer from neuropathy so bad I will no longer know what pain free in my feet will ever be like again. With that said, I live in San Diego and have tried CBD from a local Dispensary, good stuff for sure, takes the edge off, relaxes at a level where you feel much more at ease, and that's how it helps with neuropathy. And like the others said, helps with sleeping for sure.

Re: CBD oil… This guy has it all figured out
Coming from the industry and seeing the innovation, science, and opportunity (ISO) haha...ahem

CBD is not something that you introduce to the body but it is something that is already buried within our synaptic structures.

"Cannabinoid receptors, located throughout the body, are part of the endocannabinoid system, which is involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory. Cannabinoid receptors are of a class of cell membrane receptors in the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily"

It only makes sense that introducing additional cbd in its purest form will increase/heighten physical and mental state of being. If you reduce the symptoms of other nagging irritations, your mind can focus on the body's energy with a more directed and powerful outcome.

I'm thinking of ordering some high CBD cannabis seeds and growing it to make my own edibles.

It's legal here. I've been taking naproxen for pain, and would like a NSAID alternative.

I grew ACDC a few times, it was a really good plant. At least the cut I had was. It was the only strain I could smoke and not have anxiety. It was a 1:1 ratio CBD to THC.

I know a few people with neuropathy who have taken it and have found great relief. I think it's different from person to person. I also have nerve damage, and for whatever reason little to no pain associated with it, just numbness. After I started taking CBD a few years ago I got some of the feeling back in my hands and feet. But that is just my personal experience. As I've said everyone is different.

I wouldn't trust the wikileaf's potency reporting... Look at the first link - that's from a company who sells this genetic (or at least one cut/phenotype of it)... 2:1 CBD/THC...

I've had this strain in vape cartridge format and the description was very accurate in terms of the effects... All physiological (body high) with little to no psychoactive effects...

FIRST - be sure you get good quality control CBD

I will list types in order of bang for the buck;

1. OIL blends (shake well before use)

2. Coconut oil blends (solid at room temperature)

3. Pills (or any oral - stomach acid negates CBD effects)

4. Gummies and most edibles (To pricey to buy, but ok if you can grow your own and make)

The first two (blends) should be taken sublingually (under the tongue) and held there for at least 90 seconds. Cbd absorbs more directly into your system that way.

Anytime you take CBD orally, it looses close to half of its effectiveness due to the digestive acids.

Of course, oils and tinctures can be used topically as well, but still not as effective as under the tongue.

Like anything, may not work for everything/one.

CBD takes time to build up in your system. Most people should notice effects by 3 weeks. It will also come out of your system just as slow making it hard to 'placebo' test.

When I first tried, I did not think it had enough benefits to justify the cost. But after being off of it for two weeks, I realized it was doing way more than I thought.

This is not a quick fix 'pill'. You have to experiment and try. Some people will do better with a little thc in the mix, others won't.

I think most peoples overall health will benefit from it. Especially sleep and anxiety. Plus the help with pain.

Re: CBD oil… This guy has it all figured out
This is my experience with 1000 mg cbd oil tincture, 500mg of cbd vaping and cbd cream. The total cost was $250 and i vaped several times a day and i also used the dropper twice a day and the cream. The reason i was using was for pain in my legs and knees i also used it to help me relax and sleep better. I done this treatment for 10 straight days and yes it help with pain and help me relax at night. The next 10 days i tried the wild lettuce tincture, the 500 mg capsules and the wild lettuce leaf cream. In all honesty the wild lettuce gave me more pain relief and a whole lot better sleep quality. The wild lettuce cream ease the pain a lot better than the cbd cream and that was used for isolated areas. The capsules and tincture will knock your ass out if you dose to high. They both have inflammation qualities in them but i have to give the overall win to the wild lettuce at $60 vs $250

I wouldn't trust a lot of these sites with their test results. A lot of them are exaggerated to sell strains. I've bought a lot of seeds online over the years and have the bud tested by a lab in Seattle. Almost all of them were lower than stated. As for growing from seed. It's not very predictable with all the different phenotypes. You have to grow quite a few seeds to find your keeper. (Typically)

Try wild lettuce tincture, wild lettuce capsules and cream you will put cbd ass in the wind. I have experimented with both at high doses. The wild lettuce will knock your ass out if not careful and the cream rub in almost instant relief.

I suffer from neuropathy in my feet. Anyone know if this is something CBD oil could help with?
 Quoting: CYGNUS X1

I also have neuropathy, but mine is all over my body due to chemo side effects. I have leg and feet pain (exacerbated by lymphedema from surgery and radiation), complete left hand numbness, and numbness from the elbows down in both arms. I also have numbness on most of my left side and lost the use of my left leg for a while. I have tried Gabapentin, Cymbalta, and Effexor, but I am generally anti-psych meds, so I quit taking them. I did have relief from all of them, but they all plateaud after ~ 6 weeks, so I decided to try CBD oil sublingually. It DOES help but will not eradicate the pain or numbness completely. I find that my body just feels more relaxed and takes the edge off the pain that apexes at night. BUT, if I also smoke some fine, organic, home-grown cannabis at the end of the night, the two (CBD & THC) combine to significantly reduce the pain and allow me to sleep better. I also find that my legs and feet do not ache so horribly when I get in the bed and am able to get comfortable and go to sleep much faster.

Something else to consider...Once a week (at least), I take an Epsom Salt bath, and this, combined with the above therapy, gives me almost 100% relief for a few days regarding pain but not numbness. Also, I find that when I wear my compression wear (for lymphedema but also for a genetic clotting disorder), the neuropathy pain is significantly reduced, but this could simply be due to the actual pain associated with lymphedema. I recommend compression wear for everyone. It’s expensive but actually helps, feels good, and makes me look thinner even after I take it off. Today’s compression gear can be fashionably worn like socks (even for men), tights, or leggings. I wear full-body, and it does help the numbness in my hands somewhat, but that shit feels sooooo good on my lower extremities.

I bought some CBD oil here in the UK. Even at half-price for the intro offer, it is fucking expensive. One capsule, that I take each day, now, costs me over a quid.

Without the special offer it would have been 2 quid per capsule (US$2.60 or thereabouts.)

I hope it actually works.
