this worked for me, give it a try:

modify the url to add a "pp" behind the word ending in "tube" but before the dot in dotcom. it will take you to a service that still seems to work most of the time. I have found that a lot of the others appear to have recently disabled much or all of their functionality due to pressure from the 800 lb gorilla of groogle.

still, sometimes on the groogle end, it appears they only allow streaming but not download. in those cases, just let it stream and then look in your default temp directory for a file named videoplayback.mp4. sometimes there are more than one, with random numbers included in the file name. use the file's timestamp to help determine which one is the one you want to rename and move somewhere else. works for me most of the time.
