The most obvious problem with his allegations--even if they were true--is that they confuse consensual intoxicated sex with rape.

As morality and law have said for 2000 years, anyone who chooses to get drunk is fully responsible for all her/his words and actions just as if he/she were sober.

Secondly, a generally sound rule of law is that a drunkard is not a reliable witness. Someone who is drunk has both a distorted sense of reality and a confused memory.

Thirdly, modern law requires that male and female--and heterosexual and homosexual--be treated equally. This means that a heterosexual sex party in which a woman is penetrated by multiple men, is no more reprehensible than a homosexual sex party in which a man is penetrated by multiple men. If leftists say that the second case is "none of our business," then the first case isn't either.

I agree. Doing the honorable thing with these people does no good. While Grassley was being nice it gave them time to make up more lies. Grassley needs to get tough.

Flood the white house and senate with calls. Demand the vote take place.

I have never thought that I would let ideology take precedent over reason and individuality, but here we are.

Glad to have you aboard. Consider this: most politicians are in legislatures. They cast almost all their legislative votes by party line. So regardless of their individual experience, feelings, positions, etc. they are mainly a cog in the machine of one party or another.

So it's pretty much true that you're just electing a party. Choose the party agenda you want, and vote for their candidates. To me, as I've gotten older, it just seems rational.

The dems are like a pack of pitbulls smelling the blood. They've grabbed on and are now going for the jugular. With the wimpy repubs...........you can stick a fork in Kavanaugh............he's done.
