What is Curiosity?
Here is a question for you : What is Curiosity?... probably a question you have never raised, but nevertheless worth contemplating because Curiosity embeds the whole process from Discovery to Profit - and is its catalyst.

Curiosity leads to Discovery that spawns Exploration which is about "finding out/figuring out" and often is followed by Investment thus creating Profit (to be understood both materially and immaterially).

So Curiosity holds the full process from insight to profit within it...isn't that an intriguing notion? Curiosity is Capital! What if that could work on a societal level?

An active curiosity marks the difference between longevity and a short lifespan. Rejuvenation, renewal and exploring new ventures is by all means a result of Continuous Curiosity - that overcomes fear...as you cant be curious and fearful at the same time. Curiosity holds many rewards.

So what does Curiosity mean to you? ... it meant a lot to Einstein, who also said "Never lose a holy curiosity"

Is the organization you work for actively pursuing and rewarding Curiosity?....or is it embedded in own dogmatic narratives?

Dogma kills Curiosity as it do not allow to be questioned.

Stay curious.
"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. Never lose a holy curiosity. Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance." Albert Einstein

Re: What is Curiosity?
Curiosity.

The fundamental faculty in “intelligence” is CURIOSITY.

Combine it with LOGIC and you have rational intelligence.

Combine it with LOVE and you have emotional intelligence.

Combine Love, Logic and Curiosity and you have Wisdom.

Love, Logic & Curiosity are the fundamental building blocks of Consciousness.

It's as simple as that.

Re: What is Curiosity?
"Although information is intangible, it has real value to any organism with the capacity to make use of it. The benefits may accrue immediately or in the future; the delayed benefits require a learning system. Not surprisingly then, the most popular theory about the function of curiosity is to motivate learning"
