It sounds like a scam, but rest assured when you get a legitimate SSI Advocate, OP, he or she will (or should) should your SSI case. This is what I had to do for my SSI case. It took me about four years of hard work of proving myself to the various SSI doctors.

When they give you appointments to attend, OP, those are drop dead serious appointments. This one I found out the hard way, and by accident too. Just know you will almost always get denied the first time around. It can take more than a year before you're given what seems like a fair Judge hearing. For me, my Judge appointments were by Skype conference at my SSI Advocate's conference room.

The harsh truths about this SSI Benefits journey are this:

- You will despair.

Those are most of the emotions I felt over the course of my SSI journey, OP. Disregard those who automatically rail against and/or rage against all Government Benefits, OP. Obama ruined this nation in alot of ways via phenomenally vast uncontrolled mass illegal immigration into the U.S. then practically forcing them all full U.S. Government Benefits from virtually every Government Benefit program available. Nearly every Government Benefits program out there is originally for us Americans. So as far as you're legitimate, OP, no harm in taking what you need to survive.

Trust me, Iknow all too well already. Have a great attorney, and I'm waiting on a hearing date now. The process is soooo effin shitty, it took it's toll on Cindy and I unfortunately. Not sure if we can repair things or not. That's how I came to the position I'm in today.
