What's your perspective on the experiment of guaranteed income for everyone?
Quoting: Eductor Socialism is a method of extreme population control that requires a lot of energy input. It doesn't really seem that balanced.
It has many misleading selling points, none of which can successfully be implemented.
Quoting: Kore Robots and technology are taking over everything and taking away our skills.
Quoting: Eductor Is there an example of something that robots have 'taken over' that was not previously done using another kind of technology?
Quoting: KEKui Math skills, spelling skills, driving skills, playing outside skills, interacting with one another in person rather than texts, posts and emails, using a sweeper....although, I am liberal with the term robot in these examples. Already in the works are robot arms that cook for us, take care of the elderly, shop for us and if some have their way, probably intimacy, lol!
We may as well have guaranteed income.
Quoting: Eductor Wouldn't that promote dependency on the state?
If a wealthy grandfather provided all of his children and grandchildren with a guaranteed income, what do you think would happen?
Quoting: KEKui Yes, it promotes dependency and the result is worse than what we are experiencing now, imo.
Regarding free energy for the world, do you think an advanced intelligence would consider this a good idea? Could this be construed as a kind of unlimited income for the entire world?
Quoting: KEKui Remember when we developed Kimit Heights? I was experimenting with these type things. I figured out how to provide free food and recycling that supplied the building with free energy. Although, there would have had to be either volunteer helpers or robots to do some work.
