Yes. It usually takes under five minutes before I began verbally impugning their family members and religious beliefs.

The worst case was when a call to Microsoft Premier [about $1,000,000 per year] Support was inadvertently routed to Microsoft India.

They fixed it my my satisfaction by having a white North American engineer call me from their home cross-country at ten at night for three nights straight as we worked together to correct a coding issue within the Windows server OS itself.

We both were on speaker phone trouble shooting code while we drank beer and our cats meowed at each other over the speaker connection.

Now THAT is customer support done right.

The worst is to end up with some dumb black woman who is hostile.

Ignorance and poor customer support knows no race.

I have heard that on some systems that if you repeatedly push zero it automatically kicks the call back to the States.

I have tried this and, yes, it does work at times. You have to start pushing zero even before you start getting "options". I think it screws with the system and forwards a "problem" call.

Hi, pumpkin! I worked late and cannot read this thread or my head will explode. I worked in customer service for my company many moons ago.
I assure you that the crap service you experienced is not what their bosses
want. Always write down the name of the person you are dealing with. If you don’t get what you need, ask nicely to speak to the boss...If they don’t make this happen, tell them you will reach them on your own and hang up.
Now, you call corporate.

Also check if they have a company sponsered on-line satisfaction survey,
most do. Rate them a one, and give details and names, including yours. These ratings are hugely important. xo
