Ugh it is like a gut punch to see the pics out of Mexico Beach that are slowly coming in. It is probably my favorite place on the coast, although I have stayed pretty much everywhere down there. Great family memories- it is more laid back than Destin or Seaside or Seagrove Beach etc... still kinda old Florida. I am just so sad right now :( :( :( [ link to twitter.com (secure)] It has really been developed since I saw it last so many years ago. There were only a few homes in the area back then. It was more like a little hippie hamlet.
